March 17, 1947 - December 13, 2010
Savannah- Michael A. Larsgard, 63, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital following a short illness.
Mike was a native of Minnesota and was awarded the Purple Heart after serving in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Marine Corp. He has lived in Savannah since 1986.
Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Tymothe Larsgard; five children; five great-grandchildren and eight furry friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Tym, I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was always such a sweetheart to me ... truly glad to see me each time we met. He was a patriot and proud to have served his country with honor. I will miss knowing that he is in the world and with you on a daily basis. My prayers are with you and with Mike's children and other family. Love, Cece
